Well with a chesty cough there's probably losts of gunk (mucus) in your airways. Vicks Chesty Syrup contains the active ingredinet guaifenesin, which helps to clear it away and stop you coughing. On the other hand, dry coughs are irritating. So the dry cough syrup contains levamenthol, a suppressant that helps to stop coughing in its tracks, and real honey to soothe your throat.
