Important information

Do not take Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey if you:
• are allergic to dextromethorphan or any other ingredient listed. (An allergic reaction may include a rash, itching or shortness of breath.)
• are taking (or have taken in the last two weeks) monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) for depression.
• have severe liver disease.
• have a productive (chesty) cough.

Do not give Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey to children under 12 years of age.

Ask your doctor or your pharmacist before taking Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey if you:
• suffer from asthma.
• suffer from liver disease.
•have any long-standing problems with your lungs.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this or any other medicine, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Diabetics should note that each Vicks Cough Lozenge with Honey contains 3.3g of sugar (as sucrose and glucose syrup).

If symptoms persist consult your doctor. If you accidentally take too many lozenges consult a doctor immediately.

Most people will not experience any side effects with Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey but as with all medicines, taking them may occasionally have undesirable effects. Symptoms may include dizziness, excitation and stomach upsets. If you experience dizziness or excitation do not drive or operate machinery.

If you notice anything else unusual or have any unexpected side effects stop taking Vicks Cough Lozenges and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Storing your medicine
• Do not take Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey after the expiry date.
• Store below 25°C in a dry, safe place.
• Keep out of the reach of children.

Ingredients
Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey are used to relieve dry coughs associated with colds and flu. The active ingredient in Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey is Dextromethorphan base. One lozenge contains 7.33mg of Dextromethorphan base. Dextromethorphan belongs to a group of medicines called cough suppressants which act on the cough centre in the brain to reduce coughing.

Vicks Cough Lozenges with Honey also contain: Sucrose, Glucose syrup, Honey, Levomenthol, Honey flavour and Caramel flavour.

Before
