FIRST DEFENCE
Open on a close up shot of the word “AFTER” in gold lettering. We cut wider to see that it is printed on the front of a diary.
After Vicks First Defence …
We see a woman talking on the phone. She opens the diary and turns a few pages.
… you can look forward to knowing your cold might never develop.
Something out of the window attracts the woman’s attention. A man in the office opposite, across the courtyard holds a sign up to his window. We read: “ARE”. Our woman looks at it quizzically.
Cut to our woman on a street. She looks up as a balloon floats in the sky. On the balloon we read: “YOU”.
Cut to our woman in a café. A waiter puts a coffee on the table in front of her. A word is written in chocolate on the froth: “FREE”.
Our woman looks across the street to a flower stall. She notices the arrangement of flowers spells out the word: “NEXT”.
It is starting to rain. We see umbrellas being opened. From above we notice that a letter on each umbrella spells: “FRIDAY?”
We see our woman in a cab. She writes “YES!” in the condensation on the window.
